We don’t have a nice translation for „Jahrestreffen“, so we will just use the German term. Its official purpose is an annual get-together of the German alumni* network + friends & family, co-hosted with a graduation ceremony for German graduates to welcome them into the network.
For alumns, it has reunion character as well as the opportunity to bond across generations and programs, usually paired with some content input or theme (e.g. last year’s 10 year anniversary of Robert Bosch College).

Saturday (DJH München-Park)
10:00 AM:
- For families of the 2026 year group: Guided tour of the Munich City Hall
- Pre-registration required! Write an email to tanja.lewandowitz@uwc.de
- Others: Relaxed DACH Gathering, networking and meeting with the NCs from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
1:00 – 3:00 PM: interactive workshops “UWC Values“ and „How to get involved” (English) with UWC alumni Iva, Petr, and Radka
- First, we will reflect together on our relationship with the UWC Values as alumni, and then they will report on various ways to stay involved with UWC
- Iva Hořejší is Alumni Engagement Coordinator and Career Counsellor at UWC RBC. She was at UWC Adriatic from 2008 to 2010 and worked at UWC Maastricht for 11 years.
- Petr Knor is a TOK and ESS Teacher at UWC Mostar, where he also completed his IB in 2011. He is involved in the Committee of National Committees and with Short Courses.
- Radka Pudilova is Programmes Data Manager at the UWC International Office. She is a 2009 UWC Mostar Alumna and has since worked in various international organizations.
1:00 – 3:00 PM: „Ask Me Anything” (German)
- The UWC NC and Office will talk about processes within the German NC and answer your questions.
3:30 – 5:00 PM: Talk about the new IB subject „Systems Transformation Pathway“ (English) with Jeanne and James
- “In 2023, UWC Atlantic pioneered the Systems Transformation Pathway (STP) in partnership with the International Baccalaureate. The College has been sharing a taste of the curriculum with alumni across the world over the last 12 months and now they are bringing the STP Experience to Munich. With hands-on intergenerational learning at the heart of the workshop, guests will be engaged in a session that challenges perspectives, sparks creativity and builds community.”
